(Cairo, 14 November 2011) In cooperation with the UN Women and the UNFPA, ECWR organizes, as a coordinator of the “Egyptian Coalition for Women’s Participation”, a conference entitled “The Future of Democratic Transition and Women’s participation” for all 300 partner NGOs in the coalition. The conference aims to support women’s participation from all governorates of Egypt.
The following topics will be discussed in the conference:
- How to support the role of civil education in the democratic transition and supporting women’s participation in the public work.
- How to communicate and network among NGOs to support the participation of civil society in the social dialogue.
- To discuss the progress of the work of the coalition and the work of interacting the role of four committees inside the coalition (Media,Youth, Raising Awareness, and Law).
ECWR will hold the conference on Wednesday November 16th, 2011 in Shepared Hotel, Nevertity Hall, from 09:00 AM to 04:00 PM.
