ECWR has followed up on<br \/>\nthe tools and means, to guarantee providing the balanced- aspired and convenientequality<br \/>\nfor women.<br \/>\nECWR will monitor the presidential elections from a gender perspective and will set up<br \/>\nan operation room that will carry out the following tasks:<br \/>\n<strong> First task: Technical Support:<\/strong><br \/>\nAs ECWR works on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Training female youth leaders to become assistants in the electoral campaigns andassisting them to be able to run for the local elections<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> Second task: Monitoring Elections:<\/strong><br \/>\nECWR monitors all the stages of the electoral process from a gender perspective,<br \/>\nthrough publishing press releases based on the daily observation to analyze the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Presenting a vision that is concerned with observing women\u2019s participation as voters<\/li>\n<li>How the electoral process affects women\u2019s participation-negatively or positively.<\/li>\n<li>Observing the support that is given to women by the Egyptian political parties or any other organization on political, monetary and technical levels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Monitoring stages include the following:<br \/>\nCandidacy\/Nomination Stage:<br \/>\nThis includes observing the candidates, following up on their platforms and analyzes<br \/>\nwomen\u2019s standing in their platforms.<br \/>\nVoting Stage:<br \/>\nThis includes monitoring all the stages of voting beginning with opening the polling<br \/>\nstations, the voting process, the role of the Higher Electoral Commission in the electoral<br \/>\nprocess, facilitating the work of the candidates\u2019 agents and finally the closing.<br \/>\nCounting and announcing the Results:<br \/>\nThis includes all the legal procedures of counting, result announcement, run offs and<br \/>\nelectoral appeals.<br \/>\nECWR has begun with an operation room by providing a hotline to receive the<br \/>\ncomplaints and inquires on: +20 22 527-1397 \/ 528-2176<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With the continuous role that the Egyptian Center for Women\u2019s Rights ECWR plays, in order to enhance women\u2019s role in the Egyptian political life.
