The Egyptian Center for Women\u2019s Rights ECWR hosted 20 male and female students from the El Shrok Elementary school to familiarize them with ECWR\u2019s roles in enhancing women\u2019s participation and equality between women and men in terms of rights and responsibilities. This visit is part of ECWR\u2019s plan to promote community engagement between the educational institutions and the civil society organizations within the framework of \u201cSafe Street for All\u201d campaign that ECWR adopts to combat sexual harassment and to spread awareness among the new generations about the role that these organizations play in bridging the gap between the society and the governmental institutions. Therefore, those students can get involved and participate actively to make use of their spare time via making useful contribution that can help them develop their characters.<\/p>\n
