This reshuffle represents a shift in terms of increasing the number of female ministers, and the type of ministries. Inas Abdel-Dayem, who appointed as a Minister of Culture, and Rania El-Mashat, who appointed as a Minister of Tourism, are the first women to head their respective ministries in Egypt&#8217;s history.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Thus, the number of women ministers has become 6 women, of which 4 women ministers are already exist in the current Cabinet:<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-7543 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ecwronline.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%88%D8%B2%D9%8A%D8%B1%D8%A7%D8%AA-%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%82%D8%AF%D9%8A%D9%85%D8%A9-280x300.jpg?resize=280%2C300&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"280\" height=\"300\" \/>Dr. Hala Helmy\u00a0Said Younis,\u00a0Minister\u00a0of\u00a0Planning\u00a0and Follow-up and Administrative Reform.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Dr. Sahar Nasr, Minister of Investment and International Cooperation<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Dr. Ghada Waly, Minister of Social Solidarity<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Dr. Nabila Makram, <em>Minister of Immigration<\/em>\u00a0and Egyptian Expatriate Affairs<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Which means that women&#8217;s share in the cabinet reshuffle becomes 17.6%.<\/p>\n<p style=\"direction: ltr;\">Therefore, Nehad Aboul Komsan, ECWR&#8217;s chairwoman, emphasizes that this is a positive step towards the participation of women in various ministerial posts and truly engagement in the public policy-making and executive power.
