As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance legal awareness and solidify the principles of justice, the Egyptian Center for Women’s Rights (ECWR) is organizing a book signing and discussion for the new release, Beyond the Papers: Tales of Justice from the Heart of Legal Cases.
The book is authored by Ms. Nehad Aboelkomsan, Senior Attorney (Court of Cassation) and Chairwoman of the ECWR.
Event Details
- Date: Saturday, March 28
- Time: 7:00 PM
- Venue: Egyptian Lebanese Bookstore – Fame Mall, New Cairo (Tagamoa)
The event aims to highlight the human dimension of legal struggles. By presenting real-life examples, the book reflects the challenges individuals face in their pursuit of justice and reveals the intricate details of legal work that often go unseen behind official documents and statutes.
In this context, Ms. Nehad AboelKomsan stated: “The value of the law is not measured by what is written in its texts, but by the tangible impact it leaves on people’s lives. Justice is not achieved on paper alone; it is realized through the feeling of security and the ability to reclaim one’s rights.”
The event will feature an open discussion with the audience, followed by a book signing session.
The Egyptian Center for Women’s Rights invites legal professionals, human rights advocates, and the general public to attend this gathering and participate in a dialogue that promotes the understanding of law as a vital tool for protecting rights and building a more just society.
